Rain Wish

If I were to die,

Then would you come?

For being alive,

I’m just another that breathes.

If death could bring you near,

Then I wish the rain

Would shed upon my coffin,

As when the drops roll on your face,

They would replace your tears.

Us and the Rain

You said you would come

At the last drop of rainfall.

Seasons have passed,

I waited and still waiting.

The rain fell and still falling.

Perhaps you meant the rain there,

When I thought you meant the rain here.

Rain has continued to fall,

If not there then it is here.

Year after year,

Miles I walked,

And the rain waited with me.

I know you would come,

Just that the last drop has yet to fall.

You said you would come

At the last drop of rainfall.

Seasons have passed,

I waited and still waiting.

The rain fell and still falling.

Perhaps you meant the rain there,

When I thought you meant the rain here.

Rain has continued to fall,

If not there then it is here.

Year after year,

Miles I walked,

And the rain waited with me.

I know you would come,

Just that the last drop has yet to fall.

Rain Kiss

Centuries have I waited . . .

Now you’re here,

Born in human form

When I am not.

Blowing as the wind,

Falling as the rain,

Allow me the closeness.

Meet me when the sky darkens

As I shall seep into your flesh

With fallen drops.

Rain Soul

for she beholds the rain

so close, her soul as transparent

which others often missed,

with her heart, they let it drop

as how the rain falls.

Night Rain

One night in winter,

Beneath the rain I stood.

You closed the door on me,

And I waited till the birds sang.

Rain Poet

Because I often gaze

At the drops

Falling from the sky,

Seeing the souls…

Hearing not the voices

Among the streets,

Humans call me heartless.

Rain

Day and night I look at the sky,

When it clears in blue, I wait.

At times the clouds gather,

They gloom and I chant.

From above, you fall in strands.

From below, I stand in bareness.
