Night Rain

One night in winter,

Beneath the rain I stood.

You closed the door on me,

And I waited till the birds sang.

Besides the love for arts, I am fascinated with words that depicted the human mind and heart. I live in southern California and spend all free time when not working to dream, read, write, draw, and paint. Please note that all my writings on Wordpress are unedited since I write the words as they appear in mind at the moment.

      1. I am not a poet (I totally “suck” at writing poetry! I stick to fiction or non-fiction). Neither am I on those reading committees so I can’t tell. I can tell you what I felt: I liked your words and rhythm. The Rain theme is interestingly different (and I like different). You also “tell” a story, which I like. I like reading or writing stories. And telling a story is again different. Most poetry (these days?) often is an endless string of words, that lack structure to me. But then again, I’m not an expert. If I were on the committee, I would vote for you. 🙂
