Rain Bleeds

Words are inks on a page

Voice you heard is a sound–

Disappears in seconds

The feelings in me

You never sense

So let me see your hands

Let the skin of your fingers

Touch the blood that coats this heart

But take it under the rain

For I don’t want the red color

I stain your skin

Hold on to it tight

Don’t let it slip and drop

As how the rain falls

Because I have just one heart

Resting in Rain

It is quiet down here

Where they put me to rest.

As the soil poured on,

The rain cried for me–

While you were butterflying with others.

Rain falls often

On the black earth around me–

Reminds of times we walked

In the gardens,

Under the falling rain.

If I knew at the end,

You still forgot me–

As how you had

When I was still breathing,

Then I should’ve asked my heart

To rip out some muscles

For you to fall out

Through the blood I coughed

Each day, leading to the last beating.

Nowadays the rain continues falling

When I hear footsteps

Stumbled in mud.

At times I wish

They would leave me alone

As how everyone did

When I was still in flesh.

Rain Cries

Blessed are the ones

Who sleep in the lover’s arms

Through the night.

Cry not the ones

Who share the bed

Without another

Especially on the rainy nights,

For the tears in your heart

Have been kept

By the falling drops.

Smile if you can

As the rain breathes

Along with your heartbeats.

Fleeting Moments

Never once have I thought

One day with these words

I would write.

The actions you chose,

Had now set for us–

You as the past,

And I am the present.

Regrets I would not take,

Yet holding on,

I do–

To the air that floats

Between us.

Words of Love

Be with me, for my heart

Is your only room, you said.

Be with me, for my life

Is your future, you said.

With those words,

I saw no others.

With those words,

You repeated.

With those words,

The ten years I waited.

Now in the arms of others,

You no longer say the words.

Wonder

How do I miss you,

One would not know.

When words are said,

I hear echoes.

When objects appear,

I see particles.

How do I miss you,

I would not know.

To feel is all I have,

When the heart peels

Each moment you aren’t here.

Journey of the moments #26

Often times when I drive or walk, a seagull flies few feet before my eyes as if to show me the ways… so much that I want to say, “Wherever you go, I shall follow.”
