Resting in Rain

It is quiet down here

Where they put me to rest.

As the soil poured on,

The rain cried for me–

While you were butterflying with others.

Rain falls often

On the black earth around me–

Reminds of times we walked

In the gardens,

Under the falling rain.

If I knew at the end,

You still forgot me–

As how you had

When I was still breathing,

Then I should’ve asked my heart

To rip out some muscles

For you to fall out

Through the blood I coughed

Each day, leading to the last beating.

Nowadays the rain continues falling

When I hear footsteps

Stumbled in mud.

At times I wish

They would leave me alone

As how everyone did

When I was still in flesh.

Heart

Through the years

I thought all humans

Have just one heart.

Through love

I thought we all

Have the same liquid

Which flows called blood.

Now, I know. . .

I have been wrong.

Upon a Time

Someone once said:

It is your heart, I behold.

It is your gaze, I look forward.

In the life–so vast,

With the mind that moves–

With this note, you first gave–

Forever, I keep by my side.

Yet to stay,

I cannot,

For you are not

The only beauty.

Rain Cries

Blessed are the ones

Who sleep in the lover’s arms

Through the night.

Cry not the ones

Who share the bed

Without another

Especially on the rainy nights,

For the tears in your heart

Have been kept

By the falling drops.

Smile if you can

As the rain breathes

Along with your heartbeats.

Fleeting Moments

Never once have I thought

One day with these words

I would write.

The actions you chose,

Had now set for us–

You as the past,

And I am the present.

Regrets I would not take,

Yet holding on,

I do–

To the air that floats

Between us.
